One of my favorite ways to make money online. (I make more money using this method than anything else) Is the affiliate model.

Basically what happens is you set up an account with certain websites that offer an affiliate program that is related to your niche and put links and banners on your site. Payment options vary, but most commonly, the affiliate host pays a certain amount or commission for every sale that is made that is referred from your site or blog.

The best way to do this is to build up a product by showing pictures or writing about it in a very promotional manner. Then give the visitors a link to which they can go straight to what you are promoting.

When using this type of marketing system, webmasters do not have to focus as much on the quality of their website and the content that they have. Your main objective is to somehow get people to get to your affiliate hosts sites through your links or banners. If you are generating lots of traffic... You can make a fortune doing this if your working with the right affiliates. My personal favorite would most definitely be MoreNiche. They have great payouts and always pay on time.

Freelance Writing

You can find thousands of websites that will pay people to write articles for them. The pay for this varies greatly depending on the host company and the quality of the articles that you write. Like I said in the paid surveys section, you have to find a legit website that will pay well. This works because there are so many people out there who have money and just want to pay for all of their content. They can't plagiarize... Therefore... They have to pay for a writer.

Get your name out there and other websites will notice your good work. You could get recruited by a huge company like CNN someday and get paid big bucks. Notice when you read news articles theres always the writers name at the bottom of every article.

Like blogging... If you are a good writer and enjoy it... This is an ideal job to pursue.

Web design this day in age is as easy as its ever been. There are vast quantities of free web templates for download all over the internet. As well as the constant advancement in web design software.

Knowing how to create your own web page is a VERY helpful skill when it comes to making money on the internet. Running your own website can bring in profits from all directions if you establish the right market. You can implement all of the methods on this page to your website to create profits.

Once you are skilled in web design, you can freelance yourself to people who need a webpage. You can either advertise this online various different ways, or in person. My family knows a few business executives who never had a website before and paid me big bucks to make one. You could place an ad on craigslist or something as well stating your prices and services. Most non-ecommerce based businesses today are run by executives who are older because businesses usually run in families. Right now you can find many people who are still petrified of using computers. Obviously these people would rather pay usually large amounts of money considering they are executives for a website to be designed and maintained. Which you can then charge an hourly fee for.

This is an obvious one... You can always sell stuff on ebay and craigslist that you no longer need.

On the other hand... You can run your own business through these companies. If you search on ebay for certain things... You will notice that many times there are users who have established what I like to call an ebay monopoly. These are most commonly people who run their business based on the traffic that ebay provides. If your trying to sell a product, this is a great alternative to trying to build a store in a highly populated area... not to mention its also free for the most part.

Another way that people use ebay to make money is by searching around all day trying to find things that they can purchase and turn around and sell for a greater revenue. Keep in mind there are lots of people who sell things on ebay and craigslist especially at very cheap prices because some people just want to get rid of things they dont need as fast as they can.

Blogging with Adsense

One of the most popular ways to make money online lately has been blogging. If you are not familiar with blogging it's basically the process of keeping an online journal that others can read. If you write something interesting enough times, your readers will grow and so will your income. Many people actually try to transform their blog into their own little website. Really it works!! Its like creating your own webpage without having to pay for hosting, domain names, or design. All you are required to do is write. For those of you who enjoy writing, this could be a very profitable method for you.
Once you have plenty of good information on your blog and are started to get some traffic, you can implement Google Adsense into your blog. This is a program run by Google obviously that places ads on your blog or webpage. When people click on these ads, you get paid. Sound to good to be true? Well you better believe it! People all around the world are making a living on Adsense. Adsense automatically interprets which ads would suite your site or blog the best so you dont have to.

I personally run my own website that has Adsense implemented and am making a fair amount of money with it.

To bring and keep traffic to your blog, you are going to need to write good information that people want to read. Make sure you periodically update your information as well to stay ranked on search engines.

Paid Online Surveys

Most of you have probably already heard of this one. There are various organizations that will pay people a certain amount of money to complete surveys online. This method most times has the least amount of payout for the amount of time that you put into it. However you can get paid around 5 dollars give or take for completing surveys that can take you anywhere from 5 minutes to a half hour. Sure, this can be a productive activity if you have the spare time.

One problem with this is actually finding a quality website that will pay you. There are many websites out there that will swindle you into actually PAYING to take the surveys to get paid in the first place. This just reminds me too much of a strip joint and girls having to PAY to get tips... However there are many organizations that do have a good setup and will payout nicely if you spend the time and complete a lot of surveys.

All in all... Its a good thing to do when your bored and have nothing to do... But I don't suggest trying to live on it.
